At 12:32 PM, radar detected rotation in a severe thunderstorm over Dothan, moving east at 45 mph. This storm could produce a tornado at any moment.

Threats with this storm:

A tornado is possible.

Flying debris could be dangerous to those without shelter.

Mobile homes could be damaged or destroyed.

Expect damage to roofs, windows, vehicles, and trees.

Areas in the path of this storm include:

Webb, Ashford, Cowarts, and Kinsey by 12:40 PM.

Columbia by 12:50 PM.

Other locations impacted: Barber, Pleasant Plains, Sigma, Pearce, Enon, Ardilla, Farley Nuclear Plant, Avon, Smyrna, and Hilton.

Take cover NOW! Get to a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. Stay away from windows. If you’re in a mobile home or vehicle, get to a safer location immediately.
