Canceled – Severe T-Storm Warning for Lee Co. Until 11:30 AM

At 10:59 AM, a severe thunderstorm was located over Bleecker, about seven miles northwest of Smiths, moving east at 35 mph.

This storm is capable of producing:

Golf ball-sized hail

Winds up to 60 mph

Impact:

People and animals outdoors could be injured by large hail.

Expect hail damage to roofs, windows, vehicles, and siding.

Strong winds may cause damage to trees, roofs, and power lines.

Areas in the path of this storm include: Monterey Heights, Smiths, Beulah, Smiths Station, Bleecker, Griffen Mill, Ladonia, and Opelika.

If you are in the warned area, move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building.
