Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Lauderdale and Colbert Counties

New severe thunderstorm warning is in effect for parts of Lauderdale and Colbert Counties including Florence, Muscle Shoals, and Killen.

The storms will be in the Quad Cities around 210-215 p.m. 1 inch hail is indicated with this storm. 60 mph winds will be possible as well.

A very strong storm is near Booneville in Prentiss County, Mississippi. Golf ball sized hail is possible with this storm from a very strong hail core. This storm will eventually impact Colbert and Franklin Counties in Alabama. A new severe thunderstorm has been issued for Prentiss, Alcorn, and Tishomingo counties. The warning is “tornado possible” but the storm is behind the outflow and a tornado is less likely.
