Tornado Watch Now In Effect For Portions Of Central TN, Just Adjacent To The AL/TN State Line
A tornado watch is now in effect for portions of Tennessee adjacent to the Alabama state line. This watch also extends northward into southern Kentucky. Lawrenceburg, Murfreesboro, Nashville, and Bowling Green are all included. A few tornadoes are likely, as well as large hail, and damaging wind gusts.
There are currently no watches in effect for Alabama, but as stated in our prior post about the mesoscale discussion, one will likely be required at some point late tonight for much of northern Alabama.
