New Mesoscale Discussion Just North Of Alabama; Tornado Watch Issuance Likely Late Tonight

The storm prediction center has indicated that a new tornado watch will be issued for much of middle and west TN as well as southern KY soon. While no watches are currently planned for any part of Alabama, its likely one will be needed at some point tonight, likely coming out in the 10pm-12am time frame. The main risk will be from damaging winds, but hail and a few tornadoes are not out of the question. Please remain weather aware tonight into tomorrow!
