All significant weather advisories have been allowed to expired now in alabama and there are now no advisories, warnings, or watches in effect for any part of the state.

A thing line of storms continues to sag southward as it pushes eastward across the Central part of the state late tonight. It extends from Moody and Leeds to Alabaster to Brent to Greensboro and Gainesville. Gusty winds to 35 mph are posisble with this line as it arrive sin your area.

Moderate rain with lightning and thunder covers a good bit of East Central Alabama from east of the Birmingham area from St. Clair into Talladega and into Cherokee, Calhoun, and Cleburne Counties.

Some heavy thunderstorms are over Sumter, Greene, and Hale counties in West Central Alabama. A strong storm is over the border with Mississippi in JKemper county. This storm will push into Sumter county over the next hour and could trigger another significant weather advisory.

Heavy rain with embedded thunder continues from Marhsall and Morgan counties in North Central Alabama through Morgan, Winston, Walker, Marion, Fayette, and Lamar counties. Some very loud rumbly thunder in here due to the elevated bases on these storms.

All of this is mostly beneficial rains at this point.

Surface based CAPE is now non-existent across all except extreme West Central Alabama and even that should go downhill over thext couple of hours.

I think the warnings are done for the night in Alabama, but it is not out of the question that we could see another. Set your weatheradio and hit the hay if you haven’t already. The team here is signing off for the night, so there will be no further updates until the Main Man James Spann does his morning briefing. Have a great night!
