The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southern Marion County in northwestern Alabama...
  Northern Lamar County in west central Alabama...

* Until 900 PM CDT.

* At 756 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Detroit, or
  10 miles north of Sulligent, moving east at 25 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage 
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

  Tucker, Detroit, Henson Springs, Winfield, Rankin Fite Airport,
  Twin, Brilliant, Guin, Gu-
  Win, Byrd, Beaverton, Pine Springs, Crews, Marion County Public
  Lake, Piney Grove, Pikeville, Pearces Mill, Sulligent, and
  Hamilton.
