Snow Totals Across The Area: It Was a Winter Wonderland!

Rain continues across portions of east and south Alabama this afternoon, but most of the wintry weather has exited the state.

There were some fairly impressive snow totals today across central and northern Alabama, ranging from 2-4″ in the Tuscaloosa and Birmingham metros, to as much as 6″ near the Tennessee River! Here are some specific snowfall reports from across the area:

  • Heflin: 2″
  • Ethelsville: 3″
  • Haleyville: 5″
  • Ashland: 1.8″
  • Bryant-Denny Stadium: 1″
  • Aurora: 2″
  • Pell City: 3″
  • Alexandria: 2″
  • Ider: 5.5″
  • Killen: 6.5″
  • Cullman: 3″
  • Triana: 4.5″
