Wind Advisory in Effect for All of Central Alabama for Sunday afternoon through Monday Evening

The NWS in Birmingham has issued a wind advisory, effective from 3pm this afternoon until 6pm on Monday. This includes their entire forecast area, from Sumter county over to Barbour county, north to Cherokee, and west to Marion, and everyone in between. This does include Birmingham, Tuscaloosa, Clanton, Anniston, Gadsden, Greensboro, Reform, Rockford, and Hamilton.

Within the wind advisory, winds are expected to be sustained at 15-25mph from the west, with gusts as high as 45mph. This may be enough to cause a few weakened or dead trees to fall as well as blow around any unsecured outdoor objects.
