Wind Advisory Issued for Portions of North AL Until 6pm

The NWS in Huntsville has issued a wind advisory for northern Alabama including the following counties: Colbert, Dekalb, Jackson, Lauderdale, Limestone, and Madison. Here are the details from the NWS:

...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM CST THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...West winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph expected.

* WHERE...In Alabama, Limestone, Madison, DeKalb, Jackson, Colbert, 
  and Lauderdale Counties. In Tennessee, Franklin TN, Lincoln, and 
  Moore Counties.

* WHEN...Until 6 PM CST this evening.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree 
  limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high 
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
