Severe Thunderstorm Warning in Effect For Portions of Bullock, Mason, And Tallapoosa Counties Until 2:45am

The NWS has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for the Auburn area for damaging winds. Here are the details:

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 200 AM CST
FOR NORTH CENTRAL BULLOCK...CENTRAL MACON AND SOUTH CENTRAL
TALLAPOOSA COUNTIES...

At 146 AM CST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Liberty City to Tuskegee National Forest to 7
miles west of Guerryton, moving northeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Tuskegee, Notasulga, Davisville, Liberty City, Lake Tuskegee,
Sedgefield, Uphapee Creek, Moton Field Municipal Airport, and Fort
Davis.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 400 AM CST for southeastern
and east central Alabama.

building.
