Tornado Watch Expanded Once Again, But Some Counties Also in The Clear!
The NWS has extended the tornado watch once again, and now includes all Alabama counties to the GA state line with the exception of extreme SE Alabama. Severe storms have pushed through the Tuscaloosa Metro, and are now approaching the Birmingham Metro area. These storms have a history of producing wind damage and we encourage you to treat them with respect.
Several counties on the western side of the state have been given the all clear and have had the tornado watch canceled. This includes Marion, Lamar, Fayette, Pickens, Greene, Sumter, and Choctaw.
