Low Clouds, Drizzle, and Some Fog Will Reduce Visibility in Some Areas Across Northern AL Tonight
Areas of fog, mist, and low clouds are ongoing across portions of northern Alabama this evening. While winds remain light, fog may become locally dense, especially in valleys and near bodies of water before winds increase early tomorrow morning. Florence is reporting a visibility of 1/2 mile, and Decatur is reporting a visibility of 2.50 miles as of 8:53PM cst, and similar visibilities are possible elsewhere across northern AL through about 8am on Wednesday. If you are traveling late tonight or early tomorrow morning, please use caution and allow for extra time to reach your destination.
