Sara Maintains Intensity, Stationary Off the Coast of Honduras

Tropical storm Sara has now become stationary as of the latest advisory from the NHC. Her winds are currently sustained at 50mph with higher gusts, and is currently sitting just offshore of Honduras, leading to catastrophic flash flooding and landslides.

Sara is still expected to weaken to a depression by late weekend, and is no longer anticipated to intensify once reaching the gulf. That said, her remnant moisture could bring heavy thunderstorms/rain to portions of Florida next week.
