Rafael Still a Category 2 Hurricane This Evening. Here is the Latest From NHC!

As of the 9pm CT update from the National Hurricane Center, Rafael remains a mid range category 2 hurricane with maximum sustained winds of 105mph with higher gusts. Rafael continues to move WNW at around 9mph, with a gradual weakening trend expected over the next several days. By Sunday evening, a sharp turn southward towards Mexico is expected, posing no risk to the Gulf Coast of the U.S. However, rip currents could be a concern along Gulf Coast beaches through early next week.
