While Milton’s winds have slightly decreased and pressure has slightly increased, the storm is still very dangerous. It will continue to be a life-threatening event into the overnight hours tonight.

Milton is expected to track across the middle of the Florida Peninsula tonight, before making its way over the Atlantic Ocean. The threat for surge, high winds, extreme flooding, and tornadoes continues all night. If you are in an impact zone, please remain sheltered until this dangerous storm fully passes. Reminder: do not go into any flooded areas. You may not realize how deep the water is, and downed power lines could be active in the water.
