7:30PM CDT: MILTON MAKES LANDFALL NEAR SIESTA KEY

Category 3 Hurricane Milton has officially made landfall near Siesta Key, FL. Currently, life-threatening storm surge, extreme winds, and flash flooding is occurring over the Central Florida Peninsula. Winds are still measured at 120 mph. This is an extremely dangerous situation, so please continue to take shelter if you are in an impacted area.
