1PM CDT Hurricane Milton Update: Winds Now 175 mph, Pressure Down to 911 mb

Wow. This storm has been extremely scary to watch, yet fascinating for the science community. It is continuing to strengthen at an extremely fast rate as it moves across the Gulf. Here are the latest stats from the NHC:

The forecasted track of the storm remains the same as previous updates. We are still expecting some weakening to occur before landfall, but this storm will be very dangerous regardless. We will have a full update later today after the NHC releases their next advisory.
