Wind Advisory Expanded in Time & Area for Central Alabama

The Wind Advisory for Central Alabama has been expanded to now cover Fayette, Lamar, Marion, Pickens, Tuscaloosa, Walker, and Winston counties, along with Fayette, Lamar, Marion, Pickens, Tuscaloosa, Walker, and Winston counties. The time of the advisory has also been extended until 10pm Friday night.

From Jason Davis of NWS Birmingham, “Looks like it will remain breezy across the northern counties tomorrow afternoon and evening. Extended the wind advisory until 10pm tomorrow night for the northern counties already in the wind advisory. Added the northwest counties to the wind advisory for 1PM to 10PM tomorrow. Wind gusts of 30 to 35 mph will be possible in the advisory.”
