WeatherBrains Recap for Episode 974: I’m Going To Break A Lot of Stuff

| September 18, 2024 @ 5:23 pm

We had a great show Monday Night!  Kim and James A. were LIVE from the NWA annual meeting in Irving, Texas.  They were at the RON and found some wonderful guests to be on the show sharing updates from their roles in the weather enterprise and what they have learned so far from the NWA!

Their first guest was former panelist Aubrey Urbanowicz who shared with us some great news!  She was named the National Weather Association’s 2024 Broadcaster of the Year!

Next, we chatted with Kevin Deitsch, warning coordination meteorologist from the NWS St. Louis!  Thank you Katie Nickolaou for snagging this photo!

We then got to talk at length with Director of the National Weather Service, Ken Graham!

Joining us at the tail end of the show is meteorologist Greg Stumpf, Cooperative Institute for Mesoscale Meteorology Studies (CIMMS), University of Oklahoma.
