New Flood Advisory for eastern Winston County until 545pm CDT

| September 13, 2024 @ 2:51 pm

There is still some very heavy rain rolling through parts of Winston County.  The NWS has issued a new flood advisory east of the area that had already had an advisory.  The axis of very heavy rain has shifted from Upshaw to Addison over to Moreland to Houston and Arley. Approximately 1-2 inches of rain has fallen so far and another 1-2 inches projected.  Small stream flooding could occur.

Heads up further north in Lawrence County especially from Moulton south to the Winston County line.  Very heavy rain for you and an advisory may be needed for that portion of Lawrence County.
