Flash Flood Warning for parts of Colbert, Franklin and Lawrence Counties until 4pm CDT.

Very active weather pattern in place across Northern and Central Alabama and it looks like the risk of rain, heavy at times and flooding will be in place straight through tonight and Saturday.  We will have an update on the current flood watches coming out soon but first, we do have an active Flash Flood Warning.  An estimated 2-3 inches of rain has falling across parts of Northwestern Alabama and another 1-3 inches possible.  The rate could be about 1″ in just an hour!  Please do not drive on any flooded roadways.  Turn around don’t drown!
