Watching Storm Moving into Tuscaloosa

| September 12, 2024 @ 5:02 pm

A mini-line of thunderstorms has formed behind that main line approaching Birmingham.

The storm south of Tuscaloosa has some broad rotation on it and the environment is conducive for a spin up tornado.

It is moving up toward the cities of Tuscaloosa and Northport.

A small, spin up tornado could form at any time. Be alert for ready to act if a warning is issued.

An image of the storm from southern Tuscaloosa County is impressive.

The storms in southern Chilton, eastern Dallas, and Autauga counties are of more concern right now though.
