Flood Advisory for Elmore County until 530pm

| September 12, 2024 @ 2:39 pm

Excessive rainfall continues to bring the threat for flooding, now in Elmore County. Radar has indicated about 1-3 inches of rain already with this storm and the possibility of another 1-2 inches. Please be careful in Eclectic and Wetumpka. Also, in Montgomery, we continue to see storm firing in that area.  A flood advisory continues for Montgomery and Lowndes Counties.

We are concerned that over the next few hours that additional flooding could form with some of the tropical rain bands. 1-2 inches of rain in an hour possible with locally more.  Driving conditions could rapidly change and flooding could quickly occur. Please be weather aware.
