Specific Wind Forecasts Based on Current Forecast Track and Intensity

| September 10, 2024 @ 10:11 pm

Hurricane Francine will make landfall in southern Louisiana tomorrow afternoon around 6 p.m. in the area between Vermillion, Iberia, St. Mary, and Terrebonne parishes with top winds around 90 mph.

This is a very specific forecast of onset and ending times for tropical storm force, strong tropical storm force, and hurricane force winds, as well as max sustained winds and max gusts and times.

The center will obviously not follow the forecast track exactly, but this gives a really good idea of what can be expected.
