| September 1, 2024 @ 11:54 pm

The National Weather Service in Huntsville has issued a dense fog advisory for the overnight and early morning hours for their Tennessee Valley County of North Alabama and Southern Tennessee.

Weather service offices in surrounding areas have also issued dense fog advisories for western Tennessee and Northern Mississippi.

Visibility are already near zero across southern Tennessee at Pulaski and Winchester and the visibility at Cullman in North Central Alabama is now 1 mile with fog.

Visibility may drop to near zero over the Tennessee valley counties of North Alabama overnight.

In addition, fog may form in areas that saw rain today across central Alabama, and dense fog advisories may be required toward morning.

If you will be driving early tomorrow morning, make sure to leave a little early and put plenty of distance between you and the next automobile.
