A Little Football Weather Update
Alabama plays Western Kentucky tonight at 6 pm.
Big storms in Tuscaloosa at the moment. This is a very good sign. Gates will open at 4 p.m. and the storms should be moving out of the area. Hopefully with a worked over atmosphere no other storms will trheaten the game.
Auburn entertains Alabama A&M at 6:30 pm
Auburn has been clear so far and the convection allowing models look like it may stay that way. Weather will be hot and humid.
Nevada is at Troy at 6 pm
A few cells are forming over Coffee and Dale Counties and could work their way into Pike County where Troy is located.
Samford is at West Georgia at 4 p.m. Central
An isolated shower or storm is possible, but nothing upstream for now.
South Alabama hosts North Texas at 4 p.m. today
Good for now, but some light to moderate rain in the Mobile area, and an outer band from the disturbance along the Texas coast is working northward over southern Mobile county. This contest could get wet later. No lightning for now.
Alabama State entertains North Carolina Central at 2 pm tomorrow
An isolated shower or storm is possible but not likely. Mostly just hot. Game time temperature 94F.
