Storms are firing once again across northern and central Alabama. These have the potential for pulsing to severe limits as this one has in Franklin County. These are slow livers once again too so please be weather aware as you head out this afternoon!

The National Weather Service in Huntsville Alabama has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for… Franklin County in northwestern Alabama…

* Until 145 PM CDT.

* At 116 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Hackleburg, or 14 miles southwest of Russellville, moving south at 5 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include… Russellville, Phil Campbell, Belgreen, Vina, Hodges, Atwood, Duketon, Rockwood, Isbell, and Spruce Pine.
