New warning from the NWS Huntsville. This area of slow-moving storms continues to pulse and at times we have the potential for damaging winds and that is the case here near Cherokee. This storm is nearly stationary. Extremely heavy rain with this and frequent lightning. The yellow polygons are the current severe thunderstorm warnings. The blue are special weather statements. Please be weather aware!
