Still A Few Storms Storms Drifting Through

| August 29, 2024 @ 4:22 pm

Storm coverage at this time has become a bit more widely scattered.  We still have a few potent storms crawling through the state.

There are special weather statements out for a storm, that is nearly stationary near the Carbon Hill area. Winds to 50 mph possible.  Extremely heavy rain and frequent lighting with this storm as well.

The other storm is packing a punch in SW Blount, NE Jefferson and NW St. Clair Counties.  40 mph wind gusts with this.

When thunder roars, goes indoors!
