Slow Moving Storms Across Parts of the State

Time for a radar check this Thursday afternoon, as we finally have something to look at!  Slow moving storms have fired across parts of Northern and Central Alabama. A few of these in NW Alabama have become strong.  Storms from north of Russellville to Phil Campbell, Hackleburg, Haleyville and Double Springs are barely moving and have the potential of producing 40 mph winds.  Torrential rainfall may lead to localized flooding.  Take it easy as you are heading out and about this afternoon.
