An Alabama State University alumna, Porsha Davis, has opened a high-end retail store in one of the world’s busiest airports, Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. Professionally known as “Fanci,” Davis sells her aviation-themed brand of cosmetics, called Fly Fanci Cosmetics, which she says are “specialized for women of color.”
Davis, a Montgomery native, is a 2014 ASU graduate and an Atlanta-based flight attendant who recently obtained her first walk-in retail store in the Atlanta Airport after having sold her luxury skincare products online for several years.
“My aviation-themed cosmetic line draws inspiration from my career,” Davis said. “We are offering a large range of beauty products, which includes bold and vibrant quality lip gloss, waterproof matte lipsticks and lip liners that are very highly pigmented, do not smudge and last up to 24 hours, which enhances our client’s travel and everyday looks.”
