New Severe Thunderstorm Warnings for Marengo, Lowndes, and Dallas Counties

Marengo County in southwestern Alabama is under a warning due to a severe thunderstorm located over Magnolia, 13 miles southeast of Linden, moving south at 25 mph. The storm could produce 60 mph wind gusts and quarter-size hail, potentially causing damage to vehicles, roofs, siding, and trees. Areas impacted include Wayne, Surginer, Miller, Shawnee, Dixons Mill, Magnolia, Vineland, Octagon, and Clayhill. The warning is in effect until 7:45 PM CDT.

Lowndes and Dallas Counties in south central Alabama are also under a warning. A severe thunderstorm located 7 miles southeast of Belknap, 14 miles west of Mosses, is moving south at 30 mph. The storm is capable of producing 60 mph wind gusts and quarter-size hail, which may result in damage to vehicles, roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include Fort Deposit, Gordonville, Dannelly Reservoir, Lowndes County Airport, Mount Willing, Collirene, Clover Hill, Tilden, Carlowville, Minter, Farmersville, and Fostoria. This warning is in effect until 7:45 PM CDT.
