A New Warning; General Radar Update

NEW severe thunderstorm warning til 7 pm for Marengo, Perry, Lowndes, and Dallas counties. Severe storms along U.S.-80 from Demopolis to Uniontown to north of Selma. The FD in Gallionin Hale County reported extreme winds knocking down trees in Greensboro. Be ready for 60 mph winds and 1“ hail.

These same storms have a severe thunderstorm warning til 630 for Autauga, Chilton, Marengo, Perry, Hale and Dallas counties.

In southeastern parts of Central Alabama, a severe thunderstorm warning remains in effect until 645 pm for parts of Bullock, Barbour3, and Russell counties.

Severe thunderstorm watch continues til 10 pm for the counties in pink.

Look at those dewpoints over North Alabama! 60F at Florence and 62F at Decatur. It is 59F at Huntsville International!
