Severe Thunderstorm Warning for parts of Jefferson and St. Clair Counties until 430pm CDT

New storm has strengthened east of Kimberly and near Pinson.  This storm moving east at 35 mph.

The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Northeastern Jefferson County in central Alabama…
Southwestern St. Clair County in central Alabama…

* Until 430 PM CDT.

* At 339 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Pinson, or
near Gardendale, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

Northeastern Birmingham, Trussville, Gardendale, Leeds, Moody,
Springville, Odenville, Center Point, Clay, Pinson, Margaret, Argo,
Kimberly, Chalkville, Bald Rock, Grayson Valley, Branchville,
Palmerdale, St. Clair Springs, and Village Springs.
