| August 16, 2024 @ 2:56 pm

Time for a Friday afternoon radar check!  Watching slow-moving storms across portions of the state. Some of these packing a punch with strong winds, heavy rain and frequent lightning.  There is a marginal risk of severe storms in place for most of northern and central Alabama for the rest of today.  No severe storms YET…but we are watching closely.  There are a couple of special weather statements out.  And a few storms in Mississippi have pulsed to severe limits.
