Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Parts of Franklin and Lawrence Counties.

The National Weather Service in Huntsville has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Southeastern Franklin county and southwestern Lawrence counties in Northwest Alabama.

A strong thunderstorm just to the northwest of Haleyville, or just south east of Phil Campbell, moving to the east north east at 20 miles an hour.

It will move into southwestern Lawrence County southwest of Moulton over the next hour. It could be near Moulton a little after 10 AM. Damaging wind is the biggest threat. There could be some small hail as well.
