| June 30, 2024 @ 1:08 am

The 1 a.m. advisory on Beryl is in and top winds have increased to 90 mph. The estimated central pressure has lowered to 983 mb.

Satellite imagery late tonight indicates deep convection around the core with a clear eye beginning to form.

Air Force Hurricane Hunter planes are in St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Island and will start flying missions into the hurricane later this morning.

The track of the hurricane will carry it across the Windward Islands on Monday morning. Tropical storm force winds will begin as early as 2 a.m. Monday on Barbados and around sunrise on St. Vincent, Grenada, and St. Lucia. Hurricane warnings are in effect for these four islands and the Grenadines. Hurricane conditions are possible Monday during the day in the warning area.

The eventual track will carry it to near the Yucatan by Thursday. It may affect the Lower Texas Coast by Sunday. Beryl poses no threat to Alabama or the Central Gulf Coast.
