### Severe Thunderstorm Warning Issued

The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning.

At 7:31 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Samantha, or 16 miles north of Northport, moving northeast at 45 mph.

**Hazards:** 60 mph wind gusts and penny-size hail.
**Source:** Radar indicated.
**Impact:** Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

**Counties Affected:**

– Central Walker County in central Alabama
– Northeastern Tuscaloosa County in west central Alabama
– Southeastern Fayette County in west central Alabama

**Remains in effect until 8:30 PM CDT.**
