Tornado Warning for Itawamba County MS and Marion County, Alabama

The NWS in Memphis issued a tornado warning for a slice of Itawamba County in NE Mississippi, just across the state line from Marion County, Alabama.

The most dangerous part of the storm, including rotation is going to pass near of just west of Bexar in Marion County, Alabama in a few minutes…

Northwestern Marion County in northwestern Alabama…

* Until 715 PM CDT.

* At 645 PM CDT, a tornado producing storm was located near Tremont,
or 12 miles west of Hamilton, moving northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD…Damaging tornado.

SOURCE…Radar confirmed tornado.

IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.
