The National Weather Service in Huntsville, Alabama, has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for the following counties:

Western Madison County
Limestone County
Central Morgan County
Northeastern Lawrence County
This warning remains in effect until 2:45 AM CDT.

Current Situation
At 2:07 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was detected near Courtland, approximately 10 miles north of Moulton, moving east at 55 mph. This storm is capable of producing:

Hazard:
60 mph wind gusts
Quarter-size hail

Hail damage to vehicles is expected.
Wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees is likely.
