Here is the latest radar, along with really huge severe thunderstorms and flash flood warnings that are in effect.

8:40AM
A flash flood warning has been issued for DeKalb and Jackson counties.
* At 834 AM CDT, emergency management reported thunderstorms producing heavy rain across central Jackson and northern DeKalb
counties. Water was moving over the road in Rosalie, AL. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up
to one inch is possible. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

Severe Thunderstorm Warning for the northeastern half of Jefferson County.
* At 830 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Dallas to Dora, moving southeast at 30 mph.

8:30AM
Severe thunderstorm warning for parts of Marshall and DeKalb counties. At 828 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Albertville, moving east at 60 mph.

Severe thunderstorm warning for parts of Etowah and St. Clair counties. * At 827 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Albertville to near Susan Moore to near Dallas, moving east at 55 mph.

Madison and Morgan counties just cleared from watch. Marion and Winston as well.

A tornado warning continues for eastern Jackson and DeKalb Counties. No strong rotation from BMX radar and Huron radar is down.

Several northwest Alabama counties have been cleared from the tornado watch including Lauderdale, Colbert, Franklin, Lawrence, and Limestone.

Several severe thunderstorm warnings now… newest is for Elmore, Tallapoosa and Coosa.

Huntsville just issued one for eastern Cullman, Marshall, Jackson, DeKalb and Morgan. They already had one for Cullman.

BMX had a severe thunderstorm warning for Blount as well.
