Two Confirmed Tornadoes Currently, Powerful Squall Line Continues Pushing Eastward

Tornado warnings are in effect early this morning in areas northeast of Panama City and in Dothan.

Both warnings have OBSERVED tags.

One tornado is along the Bay/Washington County line in Northwest Florida northeast of Panama City. There is damage in Panama City, where this storm came ashore. This tornado will pass near FOuntain shortly, cross US-231, and eventually I-10 near or just east of Marianna.

The other tornado is just east of Dothan.

It will move into Henry County and then into Georgia.

In addition, the line of thunderstorms is pushing eastward across the Panhandle. It is approaching Navarre at this hour. Severe thunderstorm warnings are in effect ahead of the line of storms.
