3 a.m. Update: More Counties Cleared

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS CANCELLED TORNADO WATCH 718 FOR
THE FOLLOWING AREAS

IN ALABAMA THIS CANCELS 6 COUNTIES

IN CENTRAL ALABAMA

AUTAUGA CALHOUN CLAY
CLEBURNE COOSA DALLAS

THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF ANNISTON, ASHLAND, HEFLIN,
JACKSONVILLE, LINEVILLE, PRATTVILLE, ROCKFORD, AND SELMA.

In addition, the NWS in Mobile just cleared Clarke County.

The tornado watches continue for the following counties:

The southwestern counties are until 4 a.m. now. Everyone else is until 7 a.m. CST.

As you can tell from the radar, things have calmed considerably over Alabama over the past two hours. There are no severe weather warnings in effect for any part of Alabama at this hour.
