Another Gorgeous Sunday

| October 8, 2023 @ 1:49 pm

Our first fallish weekend of the year continues on this Sunday afternoon, with beautifully clear skies and cool temperatures in the 60s.

High pressure at the surface will keep Alabama’s weather dry until at least Wednesday, but a persistent upper level trough over the East is delivering the cold air.

Tonight will feature lows in the lower 40s mainly under continued clear skies.

Tomorrow will be clear and warmer, with highs in the middle and upper 70s. Perfect weather!

After lows in the 40s tomorrow night, Tuesday will be a couple of degrees warmer under partly cloudy skies, giving way to thickening clouds during the afternoon. Rain will reach southwestern Alabama Wednesday morning, spreading acros areas south of I-20 during the day. The rain should be out of teh state by sunrise on Thursday.
