Extreme Wind Warning Coming Soon
From the NWS Tallahassee…
Attention partners. With the eyewall of Major Hurricane Idalia approaching landfall, we will have to issue an Extreme Wind Warning for sustained winds of 115 mph or greater in the next 1 to 2 hours for somewhere in the southeast Big Bend. This will be a final call to shelter in place. Shelter like you would for a tornado. We would aim for about a 1 hour lead time.
