Flash Flood Warning for Parts of Madison County Until 1115 am
Persistent thunderstorms in the Huntsville area have prompted a flash flood warning for parts of Madison County.
Rainfall estimates from Doppler Radar indicate between 2-3 inches have fallen already.
Rain and thunderstorms are widespread across Northwest Alabama as well.
Scattered showers continue across a good bit of Central Alabama as well.
Severe weather is possible across a large swath of Alabama this afternoon and evening as well.

* Until 1115 AM CDT.
* At 809 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain
have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.
