Heads Up Northwestern Tuscaloosa County… Strong/Severe Storm Heading in Your Direction

| August 12, 2023 @ 4:06 pm

A severe storm is currently just north of the Tuscaloosa County line and is about to cross over and bring gusty winds, dangerous lightning, and heavy rain to locations such as Moores Bridge, Gorgas, New Lexington, and Wenwood. Small hail and damaging winds are possible with this storm and it is moving to the southeast at 20 mph.

Saturated ground and strong wind may bring down trees and power lines. Be sure to move to an interior room on the lowest floor of your building, if a warning has been issued for your location. #StayWeatherAware
