Severe T-Storm Watch Has Been Expanded… 8 More Counties Added

NWS Birmingham has added Bibb, Chambers, Chilton, Coosa, Lamar, Pickens, Tallapoosa, and Tuscaloosa counties in Central Alabama to the Severe T-Storm Watch that is already in effect until 6 pm this evening. The watch continues for Blount, Calhoun, Cherokee, Clay, Cleburne, Etowah, Fayette, Jefferson, Marion, Randolph, Shelby, St. Clair, Talladega, Walker, and Winston counties in Central Alabama, and for Colbert, Cullman, DeKalb, Franklin, Jackson, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Limestone, Madison, Marshall, and Morgan counties in North Alabama.
