Storms Firing all Along a Boundary Across Alabama

New severe thunderstorm warning for Franklin County. The strongest storms extend from Russellville and Isbell down to near Phil Campbell and Bear Creek. Instabilities are off the chart up there, running as high as 7,000 joules.

Storms are lined up this afternoon all along a boundary from south of Jackson TN through Colbert, Franklin, Winston, Walker, Jefferson, Shelby, Coosa, Elmore, Montgomery, Crenshaw, Pike, Barbour, Dale, and Coffee Counties.

There are a couple of storms in Dallas County south of Selma.
